Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting has been recently restored and could be hung as is. The restoration is almost entirely focused on a break in the canvas in the lower left sky which enters into the cottages on the left side. The lining has nicely stabilized the paint layer. There seems to be no other abrasion or restoration apart from a few tiny dots on the extreme left edge. The painting should be hung as is.
