Condition

As stated in the catalogue, the scalloped metallic three-light component is associated to the carved marble brackets. The brackets are in good condition with traces of dirt and minor chipping to edges. The female has losses to her right eyebrow. Each face is centered within a foliate cartouche. The male has extensive loss to the tip of foliate, and a chip to the top edge of the platform. The female has a loss to the tip of foliate as well on the top right hand side, chips to the edge of platform. As seen in the catalogue illustration, there is asymmetry in the figures due to these losses.
