one pair numbered 493 with initials H.G beneath a star to the back plate.

Condition
Both pairs in good, original condition, with tarnishing and wear to gilt bronze. Note that they are two associated pairs. Although inspired from the same 18th century model, they bear slight differences in design: the first one to the bobeche, the second to the stepped edges above the rams head and above the bottom finials.
