gilded with viel-or leaves on a claret undercoat, the crest with rocaille work and foliate, the tapestry woven in silk and wool with spring floral blooming bouquets and sprays.
Condition
Both chairs and the setee are sturdy. The condition of the tapestry is good, with no tears. The setee has a 4" square stain to the upholstery above the middle left-hand side leg, and another stained area of approx. 6" x 3" to the lefthand side of the seat. Overall with the minor chips to giltwood frames, mostly around the feet.
