the upper part with an inset bleu turquin marble surrounded by a baluster-cast gallery above four small solid mahogany drawers and compartments, the desk with a gilt-tooled black leather surface above three frieze drawers and a pair of cupboards flanking the kneehole, the right-end side cupboard fitted with a safe-drawer.

Condition

In very good condition. The bronze is very well cast, to the highest quality standards in keeping with late 19th century manufacture. Scratches and stains to original black laser writing surface. The carcass overall with minor dents and scratches.
