both painted with 18th century courtiers to the front and landscapes to the reverse, one painted by and signed Amblet, the other Maurice, one with a removable cover with pseudo Meissen marks and letters AL and the inscription Made in France.
Condition
Possibly assembled. The first with a warmer color to the gilding than the other; and to the gilt bronze as well as to the gilt highlights. All bronze elements with tarnishing; the banding of the foot of one has gilt decoration while the other does not;
