each reserved around the exterior with a with a wide band painted with a continuous scene of figures at various amusements in a pastoral landscape above a wide gilt and 'jewelled' border, affixed on both sides with gilt entwined serpent handles, pseudo Sèvres mark in blue.
Condition
The knop of one cover is restored; the other cover has a minor small bruise crack to the rim. One vase has extensive but well-done restoration to the foot and stem.
