Description
created from a large trunk section with a flat table top, the sides carved in openwork with an intricate network of intertwining 'roots' issuing from the tree's core

Acquired in Taipei, October 2004.
Condition
The overall condition is quite good with only a few loose branches. Some of the branches may have been broken off, but have been sanded down and stained, so it's hard to tell.
