STRUCTURE
The board is sound and very slightly bowed. The surface is in generally excellent condition with areas of strong impasto; clean and ready to hang.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV reveals an uneven varnish, particularly lower left, but no apparent signs of retouching.
FRAME
Held in a gilt plaster frame with a canvas inset.
