Condition

STUCTURE Original canvas. There is a vertical line of minor craquelure to the central bird but otherwise the work is in good overall condition with areas of strong impasto. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV reveals no apparent signs of retouching. However the varnish prevents an entirely conclusive reading. FRAME Held in a gilt plaster frame.
