Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined. There are faint areas of craquelure which appear stable scattered through the sky and the sky is dirty. Otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV light reveals retouching in places along all four edges, predominantly to the upper and right edges. There are scattered areas of retouching throughout the sky and also some isolated flecks across the foreground. All the retouching is minor and has been well executed.
