Condition
STRUCTURE
Original canvas. There are some faint areas of craquelure to the central white horse and to the trees above it. Otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals an opaque varnish which makes the surface is difficult to read conclusively. There appears to a be a small line of retouching near the right hand corner of the upper edge.
FRAME
Contained in a gilt plaster frame.
