2 parts in one volume, folio (312 x 192mm.), title printed in red and black with printer's device, numerous woodcuts in text, woodcut initials and tail-pieces, modern limp vellum binding using a sheet of manuscript from a large choirbook, two pairs of ties, title-page slightly defective and repaired down fore-edge with loss of a few letters, dampstaining in gutter, a few marginal wormholes

First separate edition in German of Du Fouilloux's La Venerie, together with a German translation of Jean de Clamorgan's La Chasse du loup, which was first published in 1566. The woodcuts of the first part are signed by Tobias Stimmer and Christoph Maurer.
