- Including the handing over of Faisal al-Dawish to King Ibn Saud by the British and the end of the Ikhwan rebellion. (1928-1931)
Oblong folio (242 x 300mm.), 64 photographs (average 82 x 105mm., or the reverse), mounted on card, recto and verso, mostly 4 or 6 to a side (a few gaps where photographs are missing), captioned in ink on the mount, contemporary morocco, binding slightly rubbed

Catalogue Note
These images, taken by a member of the R.A.F., include photographs of King Ibn Saud, Col. H.R.P. Dickson (the British Political Agent), Ibn Saud's followers, hawking groups and camp, and the hand over of the rebel chief Faisal al-Dawish after his capture and surrender in Kuwait in January 1930. Other photographs show British armoured car camps, aircraft (including crash scenes), views of Kabul, the Khyber Pass and R.A.F. life in the Middle East.
