Catalogue Note

The maps show the frontier and adjacent lands from Mount Ararat in the north to Basra and the Shatt-al-Arab in the south, first prepared by the Ordnance Survey in 1873. They are not recorded in Cyrus Alai's General Maps of Persia 1477-1925, 2005.
