Catalogue Note

Rare. These are among the earliest aquatint views of Ireland. This set of 12 views was intended as a supplement (though complete in itself) to Fisher's Scenery of Ireland, published in 1792-95 (Abbey, Scenery 452), which Abbey states incorrectly was contemplated but never issued. There is only one auction record for this work in over 35 years (bound with the Scenery of Ireland).
