Parts 1-5 (of 13) in German bound in one volume, first edition, folio (290 x 183mm.), an incomplete copy containing 4 engraved titles, 4 maps, 2 plates and 133 half-page illustrations, early twentieth-century half morocco, [Church 226, 228, 230, 232, 234], lacking one title, 5 maps, 17 (or 19) illustrations and 7 text leaves, some leaves defective (especially in part 1), 2 folding illustrations with loss of outer portion, some repairs, soiling, ink markings and underlinings, occasional cropping; sold as viewed, not subject to return (a more detailed description of each part is available upon request)
