Catalogue Note

A larger than usual collection of Mialhe's views and scenes in Cuba, which were published under differing titles, for example Isla de Cuba pintoresca (Palau 121890) and Viage pintoresco al rededor de la isla de Cuba (Palau 167989), originally in installments, which were probably never completed. These prints represent an earlier (and rarer) edition, as they are lithographed by Marquier (as opposed to Bernardo May).
