Catalogue Note

Rare with all four volumes - the Burrell copy only comprised the plate volumes (see Sotheby's, 14 October 1999, lot 239, £1,400). Enlart, who wrote prolifically on the history and art of Cyprus, died before the publication was completed. The plates include plans and architectural details of cathedrals and ruins.
