Condition

Original canvas. The work appears in good overall condition. Under ultraviolet light there are areas of retouching to sections along each edge. There are a few sweeping areas of retouching to the sky as well as various flecks of retouching, mainly to the clouds in the centre. There are a few flecks of isolated retouchings to the mountains. There are sweeping areas and flecks of retouching to the loch, predominantly along the right hand edge. There are a few further isolated retouchings to a few sections of the foreground.
