Condition
The board is sound. There are two tiny horizontal surface cracks along the upper right edge, measuring less than 1cm each. There are a few scattered minor surface abrsasions. There is a spot of lifting paint to the hand of the seated figure and a fleck of paint loss along the upper part of the right edge. There are a few specks of staining near the centre of the bottom edge and the work may benefit from a light clean.
Ultraviolet light reveals no apparent signs of retouching.
Held in a painted wood frame with a canvas mount.
