The board is sound. There are nail holes to the centre of each of the edges, and a further nail hole in the upper right corner. There are two flecks of paint loss along the upper edge and a spot of brown surface matter to the left of the largest tree. There are a few other specks of surface matter and the work is slightly dirty. Ultraviolet light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a gilt and painted wood frame.
