Condition
The canvas has been relined.
There are minor traces of craquelure to the sea and sky, and a few tiny specs of staining to the doge's palace, upper right.
Ultraviolet reveals a few scattered flecks of infilling to the doge's palace, to the sky, to the building, lower left, and in the sea, lower right; these are cosmtic andhave been carefully executed.
Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
