Condition
Edinburgh Rooftops:
The board is sound and slightly bowed. The surface is dirty and there is a small spot of staining in the lower right hand quadrant. Otherwise, the surface is in good overall condition with areas of strong impasto.
Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in a painted plaster frame with a canvas mount.
Skye:
The board is sound. The surface is dirty and there are some small spots of staining in the lower right quadrant. There is some minor frame abrasion along the right edge. Otherwise, the surface is in good overall condition with areas of strong impasto.
Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in a painted plaster frame with a canvas mount.
