Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is some frame rubbing along the upper and left edges and some very small spots of paint loss in the lower left corner. Otherwise the paint surface is stable and in good overall condtion.
Under ultraviolet light there are sweeping areas of retouching across the sky, most noticeably in the centre.
Held in a gilt wood frame.
