Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is some light craquelure in the sky in the upper left quadrant and some minor frame abrasion to the left and right edges. Otherwise, the paint surface is in good overall condition.
Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be minor flecked retouchings to the left and right edges which correspond with old frame abrasion.
Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame; unexamined out of frame.
