Condition

Original canvas. There is some frame abrasion along the right edge. There are three small abrasions in the sky in the upper right quadrant. There are a few small spots of staining in the foreground in the lower right quadrant. There is some extremely light craquelure to the cliffs in the centre of the canvas, which is only visible upon close inspection. The paint surface is slightly dirty. Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be a few flecked retouchings along the lower edge, and a further fleck in the sky in the upper left quadrant.
