Description

  • tin, paint
With all due respect, a boat that can be described best by the word "cute." JEP's production may not have equaled other firms of the day, but they filled this toy with whimsical charm. It features two funnels, two masts, waving flags, a set of stairs up to a bridge flanked by life preservers, and stairs down to a deck featuring simple but charming details. Additional features include a wheelhouse at the stern and small flag at the bow, which is stamped "Louise," above the hull, finished in cream with portholes over red. Clockwork mechanism is wound through the fore funnel and turns double screws, a lot of power for such a small craft.

Length: 13 inches

Condition

Paint finish is superb. Railing is loose and there is one detached life preserver.
