Description

  • tin, paint
This boat's sparseness of detail is hidden by clever design.  Amidships between fore and aft masts Falk has placed a delightfully shaped building surmounted by a simple bridge, three funnels and four ventilators.  The location and the shape of the building draw the attention to the center of the ship.  Bow is fitted with brass swirling figurehead.  This toy comes with four lifeboats.  The clockwork mechanism, concealed in the hull, is wound through the center funnel.

Length: 21 inches

Two davits missing, minor wear and some flaking to hull, severe paint wear on lifeboats. Please note that the stand is not for sale and will not accompany the lot.
