Comprising of a Walbert MFG "Sinking Battleship" with torpedo in original box.  Featuring a simple tinplate battleship that is hinged in the middle. When struck by the rubberband-powered torpedo, the battleship splits in the middle and sinks. Together with a Bliss lithographed paper torpedo boat; the "Alarm" is decorated with blazing cannon and a rubberband-powered firing wooden cannon. McLoughlin Bros. box featuring the Oregon on the cover containing picture puzzle cubes that can also be used to build a picture of the Maine. Also with a Bliss "Our Sailor Boy" nine-block puzzle set, lithographed paper on wood.  Together with two box lids for McLoughlin picture puzzles.



 



Length of "Sinking Battleship": 14 inches

Condition

Corrosion and flaking on the Battleship set, wear to box. Alarm missing mast and deck details. Some wear on the rest of the lot.
