Comprising a Joute "Scientifique Auto-Rameur." This white and cream wooden boat is fitted with a celluloid flapper at the helm. The hinged top opens to reveal the clockwork mechanism and two dials for adjustment. Comes in the original box with pamphlet, crank, rudder, and keel. Together with two JEP "Ruban Bleus," both finished in cream and blue, the large No. 2 and the smaller No. 0 model and a wooden Mengel Playthings "Miss America" trimmed in brass.

Some wear and spots of paint flaking on the Joute Scientifique; the box is also loose at the joints. Other three boats show minor wear. Please note that the stand is not for sale and will not accompany the lot.
