Description

  • tin, paint
Buchner toys are highly sought after but little is known about this German firm. A charmingly eccentric riverboat dominated by a billowing foresail that gives the first impression of a Viking raider rather than a paddlewheel pleasure boat fitted with ladies and gentlemen congregating beneath and around a small canopy. A very 19th century toy, the hull is painted green-gray, bordered on top by a green frieze centering a white over red undulating line.
