Each tinplate boat fitted with keywind mechanism, comprising F. Meurice and Co. boat with novel action featuring two standing figures on inset track that when wound (and operative) circle from bow to stern. Together with an Arnold sidewheeler and a Fleischmann riverboat finished in cream over red and with deck details highlighted by a couple dining beneath a green, fringed canopy. The riverboat's hull is painted white over red with a lithographed deck and superstructure, incorporating paddles and covers amidships.



 



Lengths range from 9 to 11 inches

Condition

The F. Meurice and Co. boat has extensive flaking and wear, with a missing rudder and possibly replaced figures. The Fleischmann riverboat has wear to the hull. The Arnold Sidewheeler has flaking and fading to the hull. Please note that the stand is not for sale and will not accompany the lot.
