This handsomely restored gunboat boasts a superstructure with three funnels, two masts, eight ventilators, and four lifeboats on davits. It is fitted with rotating gun turrets at bow and stern as well as eight armored guns mounted at the deck railing. It is marked "King Edward" on both sides of stern. The clockwork mechanism is concealed within hull and wound through center funnel. Comes with oversized key. The upper portion of the cream finished hull is attractively crackled.

This boat has been professionally restored from stem to stern, and has the following replaced parts: fore and aft masts, turrets, cowl vents, captain's bridge, side guns, two lifeboats and rudder wheel. It has been repainted and has had several years of aging. Please note that the stand is not for sale and will not accompany the lot.
