Catalogue Note
The present bottle belongs to a group that appears to have been made in sets for the 18th century Court. Two sets of ten bottles are illustrated in Chang Lin-sheng, Snuff Bottles in the Collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1991, pp. 142 and 145, pls. 112 and 115.
