Good condition. Very minor, very fine surface wear to the glaze on both bottles where they have been laid flat.

Kleiner notes the difficulty of successfully firing both underglaze-blue and iron-red together, and comments that this small group of identical bottles may have been made 'as a special order to commemorate a festival.'
