- Amber
of rectangular form, the material of an even translucent dark amber tone, very well hollowed and carved in relief with a continuous scene of the two female Immortals Lan Caihe and He Xiangu, the former carrying a flower basket and the latter holding aloft a lotus branch, a long-tailed bird at her side

Condition
The bottle is in good condition with tiny nibbles on the exterior mouth rim and a shallow chip on the interior mouth rim.

An amber snuff bottle of the same shape, similarly carved overall but with boys, was in the Collection of Viviane Jutheau, and is illustrated by her in Guide du Collectionneur de Tabatieres Chinoises, Paris, 1980, p. 134, no. 2.
