Engraved portrait, 2 engraved titles and 2 letterpress titles, map & 117 plates after William Henry Bartlett, all but the portrait hand-colored and with tissue guards, the map in outline; very occasional marginal creases and light spots. Contemporary red straight-grain half morocco over marbled boards, marbled edges; hinges and edges rubbed, a few scuffs.
