This work contains the celebrated  "Account of a Very Remarkable Young Musician," a detailed description of the young Mozart's visit to London in 1764–65, with an engraved portrait by P. Cook, reprinted from the Philosophical Transactions, lx (1770). The Miscellanies also contain tracts and discourses on the North Pole and on natural historical themes.
