Cather does not wish to have a new edition of My Antonia published with Speiser's photographs of Nebraska, and returns the samples under separate cover. — Autograph letter signed ("Willa Cather"), 1 page (8 1/2 x 5 3/8 in.; 215 x 136 mm) on letterhead of "The Shattuck Inn", Jaffrey, New Hampshire, 8 October [1925], to Mr. "H.B."; formerly folded, lightly soiled. Lavender half-morocco drop-box, gilt-stamped title on spine.
