The board is sound. There is a half centimeter long scratch along the right edge in the lower right quadrant. The paint surface is slightly dirty and there some very light spots of staining. Otherwise the picture is in good overall condition. Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be some small spots of flecked retouching in isolated areas around the composition, particularly in the upper left quadrant. Held in a simple gilt frame with a canvas inset in good condition.
