Condition
STRUCTURE
The canvas is laid on board which is very slightly warping. There are some very minor frame abrasions along the upper edge otherwise the overall surface of the paint is in good original condition with vibrant colour throughout.
ULTRAVIOLET
Under ultraviolet light, there appear to be no visible retouching. The darkest pigments fluoresce and appear to be by the artist's hand.
FRAME
The picture is held in a simple wood frame. The corner joints are slightly separated, but the frame is in otherwise good condition.
