Condition
The sheet is sound with only a minor undulation in the upper right quadrant. There is a very slight area of craquelure to some thick pigment above the hooded figure in the upper right quadrant and a very small surface dent above the furthest figure in the upper right quadrant. There is a very small mark of surface abrasion in the tree trunk to left of the hooded figure in the upper right quadrant. Around the base of the trees in the lower right quadrant there is a minor surface tear and two small dents. There are some light spots of staining to the skirt of the central figure. Overall the painting is in good condition with strong colours throughout.
The painting is held in a pale green and cream mount within a stained gilt and wood frame under glass; unexamined out of frame.
