horizontal pair used on a wrapper, originally containing accounts statements, from London to Macclesfield 7 August 1841, clear to large margins, lovely pastel shade, tied by black Maltese Cross cancellations, Macclesfield arrival date stamp on the reverse the following day, some tears around the seal on the reverse and age-staining on the reverse flaps; very fine.
