The range of hand-illustrated envelopes and postcards,

comprising three post cards and two envelopes; two of the post cards with comic pen-and-ink sketches of cats, one endorsed with the artist's name and 'after L.W.' (Louis Wain); one envelope with a finely-executed watercolour of a dog writing the address details on an envelope, the stamp placed inverted to the dog, but correctly for the postman to read the address; the other envelope with an all-over Venetian watercolour scene of gondolas against a setting sun, damage on the reverse caused by removal from a scrap book; generally fine.
