used from London to Dublin 26 May 1840, Britannia with red Maltese Cross cancellation, the 1d. unusually placed on the reverse of the Mulready, large margins, tied only by the London Charing Cross Maltese Cross date stamp of despatch, a further impression alongside, the adhesive further tied by the Dublin diamond date stamp of arrival the following day; very fine.
