Condition

Lined. fine pressed craquelure. two spots of loss, one above left figure's shoulder and one in left figure's chignon. slight paint lifting in nape of neck of right figure. obvious repaint on left side of neck of right figure. under UV: thick old varnish; a few varnish drips lower right; upper half shows faint old repaint including numerous long vertical strokes upper left; a few spots of retouching in hair of each figure and a 5 by 5 inch area to the right of the right figure's head, as well as to above mentioned nape of neck.
