Condition

Overall good restored condition; later decorated; probably originally black japanned; restorations to inside of gallery at juncture with tray and now with inpainting; decoration restored; two cigarette burns to left side; rubbing to painted decoration and gilding, craquelure; underside of tray with two losses were previously fitted to a stand; some minor scratches and chips to the conforming later stand.
