the loose-cushioned caned rectangular backrest and seat flanked by caned sides with padded circular armrests and mahogany lion's-head fronts above caned sides, the ring-turned stiles continuing to tapering ring-turned legs on casters. One with re-inforced rails.

Condition
Overall good restored condition and with some old marks and scratches; the first with rubbing, wear and minor chips to the lion-head masks to the handholds; infilled and inpainted patch to the back left leg covering the caning; the seat now with later inner frame for the caned seat; infilled caning holes to the front rail; old repaired breaks to the front legs with inpainting; the other with a label printed COSTA ATTILILO IMPAGLIATORE SEDIE / CANNA D'INDIA...MILANO...LANDRIANO; minor chips to the lion-head masks of the handholds; the right handhold with loss to carving above right ear; old marks and scratches; repaired breaks to right front foot above caster.
