the canted rectangular top above a conforming frieze, raised on baluster-turned legs joined by stretchers.

Condition

Restored condition; now with a later finish; the underside of top with a later wood brace reinforcement cut through the frieze; age cracks to top of one leg; age cracks to feet at junctures of box stretchers; age cracks to turned feet; traces of red painted decoration to undersides; rubbing and wear to box stretcher; patches to top; old marks, scratches scuffs and bruises.
